Having a More Successful Personal Life Could Come Down to Two Things... Confidence and Exercise!

by Jesse Pinkoski

As a single guy, (and there are a lot out there) you've probably been in a situation where maybe you're in a bar, and you glance over and see a woman. She's tall, blonde, slim yet buxom. You contemplate making your move. Should you ask her her name? Introduce yourself? Maybe even tell a joke? You get up, feel your knees shake, the butterflies in your stomach. You walk over...and straight past her to the men's room. "Damn!", you think. "I wish I had more confidence." You should.

The biggest mistake men can make when contemplating asking a woman out is having a lack of confidence. Maybe she's so beautiful, sure of herself, even both. But the one thing you have to realize is... most women want the same  things you do! They want love, affection, loyalty, and yes, even SEX! You just have to realize that. Once you do, and you get it into your mind that you're both human beings that want essentially the same things, you might just stop at her table and introduce yourself. And you might just get her telephone number on top of it!

While confidence is essential, and one of the things a woman finds most attractive, it's not all that matters.  Unfortunately, a lot of people, (women as well as men) judge someone, or make the decision of whether to date  someone or not, by their physical appearance. It's not very fair to the 5'4" 200lb. guy, but it's a fact of life. You can
either accept it and not do anything about it, or you can put down the Twinkies and hit the gym!!

If you are a heavier guy and want to shed a few pounds, the first thing you need to do is aerobics. Whether it be the  treadmill, jumping-jacks, running, even just walking, you need to get your heart pumping and sweat to burn fat! Just be sure not to over do it at first, you may even want to talk with your doctor.

If you're a smaller guy and want to gain some weight and muscle, simply increasing the number of calories you take in every day will add mass. Increasing the amount of protein you take in, coupled with a good weight lifting regimen, will add muscle. To add muscle size, lift heavier weights. Bench presses, curls, shoulder presses all work well. Results will come, just be patient! Even consider working with a personal trainer. You can find one at your local gym. Sooner or later, you will notice the results, and so will the women!!

It is a very difficult thing to walk up to a total stranger and ask her out on a date. But remember, if you have confidence in yourself, and put in an honest effort in the gym, results WILL come. Both mentally, physically, and personally!
